Dem Schwimmblatt traut das Entlein, lässt sich tragen,
es zaudert ängstlich nach der Schale Bruch.
Ein Ruf bedeutet ihm den Sprung zu wagen,
dem Rate folgend im Verhaltensbuch.
Das Küken streckt sein Köpfchen, nippt vom Nassen,
bemerkt im Blau ein Bild, sein Konterfei.
Jetzt will es weiter sich nicht bitten lassen,
es glaubt nun, dass ein Sprung gefahrlos sei.
Ein Satz, die Wellen laufen fort in Ringen.
Das gelbe Knäuel rudert hin und her,
versucht ins neue Element zu dringen,
als ob es Wochen schon geschwommen wär.
